Step Back in Time is a short series of lectures by Dr Pat Murrell in aid of St Nicholas Hospice Care. Keeping Up Appearances is the second in the series.

Join Pat Murrell at the United Reformed Church to hear about the remodelling and Georgianisation of properties in Bury St Edmunds 1660-1830.

This considers what was needed to obtain the fashionable look of the day plus the resolve of many to salvage and recycle materials where possible.

Refreshments included in the ticket price. Cakes and biscuits made to recipes of the period

This lecture takes place on Thursday 1 August at 8pm, at the United Reformed Church, Whiting Street, Bury St Edmunds.
