We use a service called AddThis which allows us to provide sharing options, for example Facebook ‘Like’ buttons and Twitter ‘Tweet’ buttons. The cookie is used to make sure the you see the a correct, updated count if you decide to share a page and return to it before the AddThis share count cache is updated. No data from the cookie is sent back to AddThis. We do not send any personally identifiable information to AddThis.
