I'm really excited to be taking part in Girls Night Out 2018, St Nicholas Hospice Care's biggest fundraiser of the year.
This year on the tenth anniversary of the girls night out fundraising walk I decided it was my time to join this event, be part of something bigger to help those that are most in need. Myself, Melissa and Casey have known each other since school and decided it would be a great opportunity to spend time together as friends, having a laugh, whilst also raising money for a fantastic local charity.
Some people will be walking in memory of a loved one. For me you never know when you or someone you love may need the support of a Charity such as St Nicholas Hospice and that was the realisation that if I can help someone, maybe more than one person, another’s loved one, then I should, we all should.
Girls Night Out takes place on Saturday, 8th September 2018 6.30pm on Angel Hill, Bury St Edmunds and we will be undertaking the 11.2mile route!
I'm supporting St Nicholas Hospice Care. They have to raise £11,000 a day to continue to offer emotional and physical support to more than 400 families dealing with long-term and life-threatening illnesses in West Suffolk and Thetford.
