1000 mile cycle challenge for Zena

Darren Gibbs is raising money for St Nicholas Hospice Care.

Darren's Story

Brothers, Darren and Andrew are aiming to complete the 1000 miles in 10 weeks, averaging 100 miles per week on road bikes. We are hoping other enthusiastic cyclists may join us for one of the many rides we will complete and spur us on and maybe give a donation to the charity as a result.
My good friend, Major Ian Robinson is currently on his 4th tour of Afghanistan, (Feb - August 2015) serving in Kabul, as the Quartermaster of the 1st Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment, as part of the UK's 500 man contribution to Operation Resolute Support which is the NATO mission to train, advise and assist the Afghan Security. He is based in the Hamid Karzai International Airport and will also be completing the 1000 mile challenge on an exercise bike in the gym!
