13 years ago my mother, Theodosia, at the very young age of 49 lost the battle with bowel cancer after 2 years fighting against this nasty disease. 7 years ago my one and only brother, best friend and other half, Fotios left us too, after a motorbike accident.

In their memory I would be rolling straight 24h this Friday 17th November 7pm until Saturday 18th November 7pm to raise money for St Nicholas Hospice that provides end of life care and support to those on their final chapter of their life and their families and friends at these really vulnerable times.

I am part of a team who will be sparring for 24 hours but as part of that we are inviting anyone who wants to try Brazilian Ju Jitsu regardless of experience, age or ability to come and have a go in a friendly atmosphere at a great gym.
