‘In March 2017 my Grandad Tom will have been gone 10years. During the last months of his life he was loved and cared for by the amazing staff, nurses and doctors at St Nicholas Hospice where he far outstayed his welcome – this also being testament to the wonderful care he received. I can’t thank them enough for the support and compassion they showed my family.
I want to honour my grandad’s life and celebrate his hilarious stories on the 10th anniversary of his death next year but I would also like to go some way to thanking St Nicholas Hospice and ensuring other families can continue to receive the kindness my family did.
Therefore I HAVE SET A CHALLENGE TO RAISE 10K IN 10 MONTHS!
With a little help from my friends and family we will be running, baking, selling, dancing, quizzing and kicking our way to 10k.
£10,000 is a lot of money and anyone who would like to get involved and host an event or run a sponsored race to help us reach our target it would be very much appreciated and I would love to hear from you.
