Zena Butcher

A memorial for Zena Butcher.

A special day

A really special memory for me was a walk that Zena and I took along Westbury Avenue, Bury St Edmunds. Zena hadn't been well, but we managed to get her into a wheelchair and a walk around the block. The sun was shining and the cherry blossom was in full bloom, she couldn't stop smiling.....something that was so easy to take for granted, can mean so much.

After Zena passed away, we were lucky enough to get a beautiful area at the cemetery, where we could also plant a tree in her memory.

Earlier this year connie and I visited Zena's grave, the tree was in full bloom and was looking lovely. A special moment for me and one that brought that special day flooding back.
